My project Urban Camouflage is based upon urban street furniture, such as drain covers and air vents. The concept of this project was to look at the hidden beauty of these items, looking at the patterns and textures found within these. I wanted to look at this subject to find inspiration in the unseen and draw attention to the day to day architecture that is often overlooked and goes un-noticed This project consists of a variety of laser cut samples that focus of overlapping shapes and regularly repeating patterns that use a variety of thicknesses of leather, both etching and cutting the leather to create my designs
