My name is Anastasiia Do. I am a crochet designer with a deep appreciation for craftsmanship. I graduated from Goldsmiths University of London with a Bachelor degree in Film studies in 2022. I have participated in a few short films where I took part as a sound recordist, sound designer and camera assistant. Later, after graduation I acquired a new skill - crochet. It has completely changed my life as I acknowledged that the best self expression I can do is with using my hands. I crochet my own designs and also do collaborations with other brands and businesses. When I moved to Firenze I have decided to acquire new skills in leather craftsmanship and my life has changed forever. I have found a life long passion that not only makes me happy , but give me an opportunity to express my creativity and skills to the fullest.
The phrase, “Beauty is in the eye of the beholder,” has profoundly influenced my understanding of design. To me, beauty is never defined by appearance alone. It emerges from the harmony of thoughtful design, practicality, meticulous attention to detail, and the emotional connection an object creates with its owner.
With my work, I strive to create bags that integrate effortlessly into everyday life while offering something unexpected—pieces that invite a second glance. Just as it is impossible to truly see into another person’s soul, I am fascinated by designs that reveal themselves gradually, rewarding those who take the time to look more closely. That sense of quiet intrigue is what I hope every bag I create will convey.
