My name is angela zheng, i have chinese citizenship but was born and raised in italy. I graduated in fashion design (clothing) at ied florence in december 2022 and am currently attending a C.A.D. (clothing) course. My favourite designer is Yves Saint Laurent, his mondrian dress has a very special value for me, it made a deep impression on me the first time that I saw it and following the research about him and his work, it led me into this world. I love the creative and development process , seeing my drawings from paper come true is my greatest satisfaction. I like stories, fairy tales and mythologies, they are often my source of inspiration. I am passionate about this world and would like it to become my job. I hope that one day I will be able to become a professional in this field.

My collection is called Soft Armor. One of the main characteristics of leather is its resistance. Since prehistoric times, primitive men have used it to protect themselves from the cold and as straps to transport and join objects. There was no better alternative than leather to join iron armour. It is incredible to think of leather, a material so flexible that it can join a material as rigid as metal and does not tear. Its resistance suggests the spirit of the soldier, strong, resistant and protecting. The jacket will be made entirely of sheepskin(ovino grey) with detachable parts (wrist guards, shoulder protectors) in rigid leather.The accessories are metal studs and metal buttons.
