Tiyun Yang

Shih Chien University

Hi, I’m TIYUN YANG, currently studying Fashion Design at Shih Chien University. I'm deeply inspired by the conceptual and theatrical essence of Viktor & Rolf. My strength lies in knitwear, where I incorporate knitting techniques into my personal design language. I love exploring innovative yarns and knit textures, using experimentation and craftsmanship to bring warmth, emotion, and depth into my creations. To me, knitting is not just a technique—it's a poetic connection between the garment and the body.

Lost in the forest of my inner soul, Where dreams and reality pull and tug, Drifting uncertainly between decay and transcendence. Is this a dream, or fragments of reality? The expectations I carry weigh like heavy mud, Slowing every step I take forward. Should I continue to lose my way, Or remain in this wild paradise, running free? By combining leather printing with jacquard knitting, this design explores the interplay between illusion and reality — where texture and pattern overlap, blur, and redefine dimensional boundaries. The contrast between the solid, tactile surface of printed leather and the intricate depth of jacquard knits creates a layered visual experience that shifts between the tangible and the intangible.
