My name is Hsieh Shun-Yu, and I’m currently studying fashion design at Shih Chien University. I started out in multimedia design in high school, then gradually got into fashion, architecture, and floral design—which I’ve been learning on my own. I’m also taking leather-related courses at TNUA. I’ve held a small floral exhibition before, and I’ve participated in some ongoing project exhibitions at other schools. I often help with school events too, like fashion week and exhibition setups. My creative process usually starts from everyday experiences. I like telling stories through materials and combining ideas from different fields. For this competition, I want to try something new and create a piece that truly reflects me.

Only after entering university did I truly begin to notice the concept of "time." Life used to move at a slower pace, but since coming here, every day feels like a race against something. Not racing toward dreams, but rushing to submit assignments, meet class schedules, catch up on coursework, and hurry to the metro. I’ve hardly ever properly rested, nor paused to reflect— "Am I doing okay lately? Are the people around me alright?" It's as if I’m continually sustaining myself under pressure, distorting, collapsing, and reconstructing; the process may look complete, but in reality, it's held together by countless fragments.
