這雙鞋的靈感來自「繭」，代表在面對不確定和壓力的時候，我們內心仍保有一種保護自己的力量。這不只是保護，更是一種準備好蛻變的狀態。我從海螺、龍蝦殼這些自然生物的結構中得到啟發，把它們堅固又有層次的外殼，轉化成一種可以穿上的盔甲。鞋子的外型設計，融合了蝦殼的分節感和海螺的螺旋線條，整體看起來像是一種保護性的裝備。鞋側的螺旋裝飾使用植鞣革手工塑形，不只是裝飾，更像是整雙鞋的能量核心，讓人聯想到繭體的包覆感和穩定感。鞋身從上到下延伸的螺紋也呼應了海螺紋路的自然流動，讓整雙鞋不只有視覺上還有觸感上的層次。 鞋底和鞋跟的設計是從龍蝦和甲殼類的節節構造發展而來，透過3D列印的方式完成，強調科技與工藝的結合。尤其鞋跟的堆疊設計，有種「節節高升」的象徵意義，暗喻每一步都是成長與突破。 配色上選用了像珍珠灰、淡貝殼粉、海藍綠這種偏自然柔和的色調，讓整雙鞋的視覺感覺有種溫潤但堅定的力量。就像深海裡的生物，外表平靜但內裡強韌，這也是我想透過這雙鞋表達的，在保護中成長，在抵抗中蛻變。 My design, called Cocoon, is inspired by the idea of protection and transformation. I looked to sea creatures like snails and crustaceans—their shells became the base for this biomimicry concept. The shoe features spiral and segmented patterns, combining softness and strength, like armor for the foot. The heel is 3D-printed to resemble stacked shells, symbolizing growth and steady progress. On the side, sculpted vegetable-tanned leather forms a spiral shell detail that gives the shoe a bold, protective energy. The colors—pearl grey, soft pink, sea green—echo calmness with quiet strength. Overall, this piece is about evolving through resistance, just like emerging from a cocoon.
