Hello, my name is Lin Yi-Xuan, and I am currently studying in the Department of Fashion Design and Management at Shih Chien University. The reason I chose this field is closely related to my creative experiences since childhood. When I was little, I often used materials readily available at home—such as toothpicks, straws, and paper clips—to create handmade crafts using my imagination. As I grew older, I began exploring a wider variety of materials and techniques, including beading, UV resin, sewing, and more recently, crochet. This creative journey has been very precious to me. It has taught me how to make flexible use of different materials and helped me develop a multi-perspective approach to problem-solving and the creative process. I hope to continue applying these experiences and skills to my future studies and keep improving my creative abilities.

This work explores the light that radiates from within—those subtle yet significant points of illumination that define our presence. As we journey forward, we leave behind traces of that light, marking the paths we’ve taken. Each step involves confronting layers of challenges and facing the unknown. Through these moments of struggle, we find release, acceptance, and glimpses of precious light. Over time, these fragments of experience accumulate, forming a glow that is uniquely personal. Though seemingly small, this light possesses the quiet strength to reach farther and shine brighter than expected—an embodiment of resilience, growth, and the power within.
