MZATI CREATIONS

Over the past five years, my passion for design and sustainability has driven me to experiment with a variety of materials and techniques to create unique, eco-conscious products. As I explored different themes, I was particularly inspired by the kangaroo—its distinctive features and cultural symbolism sparked the concept behind this design. The increasing momentum of sustainable fashion trends further fueled my motivation. With consumers becoming more aware of environmental issues, there is a growing demand for products that balance style, function, and eco-responsibility. This design aims to meet that demand, targeting fashion-conscious individuals who also prioritize sustainability and affordability. To align with these values, I carefully selected materials that are both functional and environmentally friendly. Reclaimed cow leather and old leather jackets offer durability and aesthetic appeal for the shoe straps. The insole board and repurposed sucker bag material contribute to texture and sustainability. The use of Moringa tree planks and recycled rubber tyres for the sole helps reduce waste and environmental impact. These choices support a responsible production approach, blending traditional craftsmanship with modern manufacturing techniques. The process emphasizes waste minimization and ethical sourcing, making the final product accessible without compromising on quality or sustainability. Ultimately, these shoes are designed for individuals who value original, eco-friendly fashion—those who seek out innovative design while supporting environmentally responsible practices.
