I am a 20-year-old footwear design student from Finland. I have a former degree in shoemaking and leatherworking. My style in design is eccentric. I strive for uniqueness and unpredictableness while also wanting to make something beautiful. I find inspiration from the average life. A cooled down cup of coffee, a mossy brick on an old wall or the beat-up cello of a street artist. All beauty in the rat race. I want to move people. And not just their feet, but their souls too. Speaking of movement: Do yo know what else moves? Our planet! No need for shoes without a planet to walk on! It is very important for me that my designs are something that will be loved for generations and generations. As a shoemaker, I take great pride in knowing that something I gave life to is loved till death, and not thrown away after five uses. Quality craftsmanship and materials are my top priorities. Can't wear heels on a landfill!
