I am a postgraduate Contour Fashion Innovation Student from De Montfort University who specialises in leathercraft and 3D printing. I am passionate about changing the face of fashion by using leather and technology to create sustainable solutions. Therefore, my current final major project is dedicated to exploring various techniques to create zero-waste couture leather garments. Moreover, the clothing has 3D-printed embellishments and components which I modelled and printed on my small 3D printer at home.
I am also a Contour Fashion BA graduate trained in lingerie and corsetry design. I am a hardworking and dedicated student who adores working with leather as it is a long-lasting and durable material. In 2022, I won second place in the Worshipful Company of Leathersellers Awards Level 6 competition for a collection of leather lingerie.
At the beginning of this year, I also won a Roadley Award for sustainable innovation and I received a bursary to produce my eco-friendly collection of leather outerwear combined with corsetry and 3D-printed lingerie.
Recently, I have been selected as a second runner-up in this edition of the Worshipful Company of Leathersellers Awards competition for my leather trench coat with a built-in corset.
In the future, my goal is to become a professional designer who works with leather and explores sustainability solutions to adapt technological innovation to the fashion industry.
