Allison Gómez is a British-Colombian Luxury Leather Goods Designer Maker. Since graduating from London College of Fashion, Allison is progressing the development of her brand ATA SUÉ, which is native to the Pre-Columbian indigenous language, Chibcha- the concept source of the launching collection, the Zihita Range. Allison's work evolves from transitioning between 2D and 3D experiments and samples, scaling designs accordingly to the relevance and relation to the design and concept. She initiates the design process directly from primary and secondary research which expands into silhouettes and mockups, thorough material research, pattern cutting and detailed precision. Applied to the evolving brand ATA SUÉ, a combination of soft and hard constructions are applied with luxury technical camouflaging techniques incorporated alongside a modern approach to already existing leather construction techniques.

ATA SUÉ presents the Zihita Collection inspired by the native history of PreColumbians as an emblem to aim to restore the wealth and relevance of PreColumbian history in our present day. The carefully curated selection of leather goods and accessories encompasses an incorporation of luxury technical camouflaging techniques with a modern approach to traditional leather crafting constructions. The artisanal hand made leather products are essentially wearable fashion artefacts, unique in shape, colour, construction and concept to the user, sustaining a historical concept amongst a western audience. The Zihita Collection by ATA SUÉ, has so far received two awards: -The Cordwainers Jimmy Choo Accessories Award 2022. -The Curriers Cup of Excellence Honours in Leathercraft 2022.
