My name is Carolina Covarrubias. I'm a fashion designer. I graduated in June 2022. I’m currently studying a master’s degree in Fashion and Marketing in collaboration with Vogue. I’m starting my brand named “Covalary” which is a combination between my two last names. This brand will be focusing on sustainability and creating unique design pieces.

Competitions: International

This design is inspired by my hometown Saltillo, which is located in Northern Mexico. Saltillo is a region where dinosaurs used to live. While doing my moodboard, I got the inspiration from the dinosaur bones and their structure. This piece is a multifunctional piece. As you can see, it can be worn in 4 different ways: as a jacket, as a vest, as a coat, and a sleeveless coat. The main purpose of this piece is to focus on sustainability by having one fun and creative piece that covers the function of buying 4 different pieces.
