My name is brenda a certificated shoemaker and I have been in the industry from 2019 . Thanks to the presidential program I was able to go through covid19 by making shoes at home since we were in lockdown and there was no transportation except moving so I was able to take care of my family by selling shoes and since then I do shoemaking for a living and training my community like single mothers and youth how to make shoes.

Circles of strength is a leather foot wear concept inspired by strength, connection, and transformation. The collection begins with a modern gladiator sandal silhouette, reimagined through handcrafted leather and circular form. The first design features a knee-high gladiator structure with interconnected circular leather details running along the sides and sides and back of the leg. The extended leather lace system closes at the front and creates both function and a bold visual identity. The circles represent unity, resilience, and the experiences that shape every individual. The concept develops into shorter sandal forms carrying the same circular design language closer to the foot. Each arrangement of circles creates balance between comfort, beauty, and support while showing how one idea can evolve into different experiences. Inspired by Ugandan craftmanship and the natural character of genuine leather, the collection celebrates full grain cowhide leather as a material that carries history and develops character over the time. Every handcrafted detail reflects patience, skill, and the connection between the maker, the material, and the wearer. Circles of strength represents a journey from Uganda to the global fashion stage, proving that African craftsmanship can create contemporary footwear with meaning, innovation and lasting value. More than a sandal, it's a story of strength carried through leather and a celebration of creativity, heritage and design.
