I am a footwear designer driven by the balance between clear concept and practical execution. My background in Photography (Harare Polytechnic, 2004) and Media Studies (Zimbabwe Open University, 2009) shapes how I approach design focusing on how form, material, and detail communicate a strong, purposeful story. I built my technical foundation through Pattern Making and Tailoring (Belvedere Teachers College, 2008), and later refined my footwear skills through ALLPI. This allows me to translate ideas into well-constructed products that are both functional and intentional. I focus on men’s footwear, designing sandals, formal, and casual styles with attention to comfort, durability, and usability. My work responds to real environments, ensuring that each design has a clear function and relevance. My process is guided by innovation, sustainability, and commercial viability. I explore responsible material use and draw inspiration from local culture and everyday life, ensuring that each product feels authentic and grounded. I aim to create footwear that is simple, purposeful, and well resolved and products that meet real needs while maintaining a distinct and contemporary African design identity.
