Fashion Brunt of Taiwanese Culture

Category: Accessories

Competitions: Taiwan Region, International

Taiwan is a place with a rich culture, and one of its cultures is the worship of deities. Deities refer to various gods, such as heavenly gods, earth gods, and city gods, which are believed to have the power of blessing, protection, and problem-solving. As a result, they are worshipped and respected by the people of Taiwan. One of the most important elements of Taiwan's temple culture is the lantern, which is believed to symbolize peace and blessing. In Taiwan, lanterns are usually made of red paper, with specific prayer contents such as peace and blessing written on them. They are then hung inside and outside the temple. Lanterns are a symbol of faith, representing people's respect and reverence for deities. When followers hang lanterns in the temple, they hope that the deities can bless themselves and their families with safety, health, and the fulfillment of their wishes.
