This year, I am working on my graduation exhibition, aiming to showcase my passion for leather materials and the aesthetics of craftsmanship. Selective leather hardening highlights the texture shaped by the underlying bone structure. The contrast between rigidity and softness creates a unique tactile experience. What seems fluid and smooth is actually structured and supportive, with hardening reinforcing both form and function.

Perforation and cutting techniques allow leather pieces to interlock securely without stitching, forming intricate and unique patterns. Inspired by flowing wave-like motifs, the collection’s name comes from the Taiwanese pronunciation of "sea waves," transliteration into both Japanese and English.
