I am a design creator who focuses on the subtle relationships between people and objects. Rather than pursuing pure visual aesthetics, I am drawn to the sensory experience of interaction—the quiet, often overlooked moments that occur when a user touches and engages with an object. These nuances form the starting point of my design process. Throughout my studies, I have explored design through both collaboration and field research. By engaging with local communities in places such as Shigang and Dongshi, I learned to translate emotions and cultural narratives into tangible works with warmth and meaning. These experiences shaped my belief that design is not merely about form-making, but about creating connections between people and their everyday lives. I work with 3D modeling tools such as SolidWorks and Blender, alongside hands-on prototyping techniques like 3D printing and laser cutting. However, to me, technology is only a medium. What truly matters is whether a piece can evoke a sense of natural presence and resonance in the moment it is used.

Leather Lotus

Category: Design*

Competitions: Taiwan Region

In the cold, modern digital living space, people yearn to return to the warmth of nature. Inspired by capturing the vibrant life force of a lotus in bloom, I attempted to reshape it using handcrafted leather, creating an object that combines natural beauty with human craftsmanship. I observed that desktops and bedside tables often lose their aesthetic appeal due to cluttered items (jewelry, glasses, pens). Therefore, the motivation was to design a lamp that is not merely for illumination, but also an art piece that elegantly stores and displays cherished items, perfectly concealing functionality within aesthetic form.
