Alessio Dolfi

Young designer with a degree in Fashion Design at European Institute of Design, who moved to Milan attracted by the aesthetics of the city, able to give me the necessary stimuli to start developing the concepts that guide the collections. Excellent research and product development skills represent two pivotal points of my work; the topics covered and the in-depth study of them lead to the development of a solid and concrete concept, capable of communicating also through the final product. During my university career I developed a strong interest in the world of modelling and prototyping, focusing my specialisation thesis on these two branches. Values, care, attention and continuous research in the experimentation of materials and forms are fundamental to appreciating the finished product, in which I try to combine several elements belonging to different worlds. In my work there is always a strong attention to detail, to the study and development of new volumes and shapes. Fashion represents my need to communicate with others and expose my vision of the world. I am precise and meticulous, motivated to achieve set goals; I am able to organise work independently, setting priorities and taking re- sponsibility accordingly. I possess good interpersonal and teamwork skills acquired as a result of competitive sporting activity in past years and previous work experience.
