Senai Andemariam

My father worked for three decades in the shoe industry with an extensive shoe production experience. Although I did not pursue this career at my early age, I always had the desire to be engaged in leather works. I got this opportunity in 2020 to intern at Mieras Handicraft with one of the leading handicraft professionals in Eritrea who has recently held the first handmade, genuine leather handbags exhibition. We designed more than seventy different types of leather works, mostly handbags. I closely work with him on further honing my capacity as a designer.
