YU-CHIAO HSIUNG

Shih Chien University

I am a student in the Fashion Design and Management Department at Shih Chien University in Taiwan, and I have a passion for creating handmade items. Seeing my creations gradually take shape, from nothing to a completed piece, fills me with immense pride and motivates me to strive for even greater achievements. Although I am still relatively new to leather crafting, I am deeply captivated by the unique charm of this art form. I am committed to continuing my learning journey, refining my techniques, and creating more works that reflect my personal style. Each piece I design embodies the warmth and value of handmade craftsmanship.

Inspired by classical music, this work incorporates the graceful curves and elegance evoked by musical compositions, blending them with the ornate elements characteristic of the Baroque and Rococo styles of the same era. Drawing inspiration from the shared decorative features of classical music and these artistic movements, the design reflects a rich interplay of layers and artistic beauty. The pieces not only embody the harmony and flow of classical music but also capture the grandeur of Baroque and the delicate charm of Rococo in their details. Each element conveys the fusion of music and art, infusing the work with an unparalleled historical essence and an air of refined elegance.
