I am a fashion designer and a fifth-year college student, currently exploring the world of leather for the first time. Having always been passionate about fashion, I previously focused on traditional design techniques. Last year, under the guidance of a mentor, I began learning about leatherworking, quickly developing a deep appreciation for the material. Through hands-on experience and detailed study, I created their first collection, which featured handbags made primarily from leather. This competition represents a significant milestone in blending their fashion background with new leather expertise, showcasing a fresh and innovative approach to crafting leather pieces that combine aesthetics and functionality.
