Laksay came from kalinga word meaning “to carry, to shoulder” symbolic of how farmers and carabaos shoulder the nation's food. Rooted in the symbol of the carabao (kalabaw): A humble yet mighty figure of Filipino farmlands — the shoe embodies the call for a better, nurturing agricultural future.
The silver toe plate and metallic accents symbolize the silver lining within the struggles of the farming sector, representing progress, recognition, and the dignity of labor.
The platform sole symbolizes standing tall — a rise above hardship, with bold steps toward sustainable futures.
Tagnawa is a Ilocano word that embodies the spirit of reciprocity, mutual support, and collective effort within a community — ties into sustainability and care for both people and place.
The bag is crafted in reverence to the Cordilleran spirit, the design features a pendant inspired by the ancient Lingling-o — a symbol of abundance & interconnectedness. Embracing our native skin & homage to the Pearl of the Orient.
