I am a fashion design student driven by a deep passion for creativity and self-expression. My interest in fashion goes beyond aesthetics; I see design as a powerful language that communicates identity, culture, and emotion. Throughout my studies, I have been constantly exploring different forms of design, and I have developed a strong focus on leather as my primary material. Leather fascinates me because of its raw beauty, durability, and versatility. It allows me to create structured yet expressive forms, where each piece carries its own character through natural textures and aging over time. Working with leather has also helped me understand the importance of craftsmanship, precision, and material sensitivity in design. I am particularly interested in combining traditional cultural elements with modern design thinking. By reinterpreting heritage motifs and applying them to contemporary products, I aim to create designs that are both meaningful and relevant. This approach not only reflects my personal identity but also contributes to preserving and evolving cultural values in today’s fashion landscape. As a young designer, I am eager to continue learning, experimenting, and pushing my creative boundaries. My goal is to develop a distinctive design voice and contribute to the fashion industry through innovative and thoughtful leather products that balance functionality, aesthetics, and cultural storytelling.

“MÂY ĐAO LỬA” is a handbag concept inspired by a traditional Vietnamese decorative motif that combines flowing cloud forms with sharp, blade-like lines, evoking the image of fire in motion. This visual language reflects a powerful sense of energy, transformation, and tension between softness and strength—an expression deeply rooted in historical and cultural contexts. The design translates these elements into a contemporary form by exploring the contrast between fluid curves and decisive cuts. The silhouette of the bag is structured yet dynamic, allowing the surface to suggest movement as if clouds are drifting and flames are rising simultaneously. This interplay creates a visual rhythm that enhances both the aesthetic and emotional impact of the piece. Crafted from raw cowhide leather, the material choice emphasizes authenticity and durability while preserving the natural texture of the surface. The design incorporates layering and subtle embossing techniques to recreate the depth of the traditional motif, generating light and shadow that shift with perspective. Each detail is carefully considered to balance craftsmanship with artistic expression. More than a functional accessory, “MÂY ĐAO LỬA” represents a reinterpretation of cultural heritage through modern design. It seeks to transform a historical motif into a contemporary object that carries identity, emotion, and storytelling, bridging the past with present-day fashion.
