A Slice of Elsewhere is a footwear project inspired by the surrealist idea of a world where everything is cut, rearranged, and reconstructed beyond the logic of reality. It reflects fragments of dreams drifting apart and slowly rebuilding themselves into unfamiliar forms mountains turning into cake, skies folding like fabric, and water flowing upward. The collection explores the feeling of stepping into an alternate universe through experimental silhouettes, layered structures, and hardware details that resemble assembled fragments from another world. Each design combines delicate pastel tones with sharp geometric forms to create a contrast between softness and structure, fantasy and control. The shoes are crafted using genuine embossed cow leather, chosen for its rich texture and luxurious appearance. The embossed surface enhances the dreamlike atmosphere while adding depth and character to the designs. Metallic hardware and fastening elements are incorporated not only for functionality, but also as visual symbols of reconstruction, attachment, and transformation. This project aims to express the beauty of irrationality and the emotional experience of escaping reality. More than just footwear, the collection represents wearable dream fragments objects suspended between imagination, memory, and fantasy.
