Trầu têm cánh phượng – Lời chào Việt Nam bằng chất liệu thủ công Từ xa xưa, miếng trầu đã là biểu tượng của sự gắn kết, mở đầu cho những câu chuyện và mối quan hệ tốt đẹp. Với tôi, câu nói “miếng trầu là đầu câu chuyện” không chỉ là một thành ngữ – đó là cả một triết lý giao tiếp đậm đà bản sắc Việt. Hình ảnh trầu têm cánh phượng với dáng cong mềm mại, đối xứng như đôi cánh, vừa duyên dáng vừa ý nhị, đã để lại trong tôi nhiều xúc cảm và trở thành nguồn cảm hứng chính cho những thiết kế túi của mình. Tôi muốn chuyển hóa vẻ đẹp dân gian ấy thành một hình thức thể hiện hiện đại, gần gũi hơn với đời sống hôm nay. Từ hình dáng miếng trầu xòe cánh, tôi phát triển nên form túi đặc trưng – với những đường cong mềm mại, cân đối, kết hợp cùng chất liệu da thật, vải lanh tự nhiên, và kỹ thuật nhuộm thủ công để giữ lại màu sắc truyền thống. Từng đường chỉ, từng lớp chất liệu đều được tôi lựa chọn và hoàn thiện bằng tay, như cách tôi nâng niu từng lớp ký ức văn hóa được gìn giữ trong đó. Với tôi, những chiếc túi này không đơn thuần là sản phẩm thời trang. Chúng là một lời chào – gửi đến bạn bè quốc tế, gửi đến thế giới. Tôi muốn kể một câu chuyện Việt bằng chính ngôn ngữ thiết kế của mình. Tôi tin rằng bản sắc không chỉ nằm trong quá khứ, mà còn hiện diện sống động giữa hiện tại – trong từng sản phẩm được tạo nên bằng trái tim, đôi tay, và niềm tự hào của một người trẻ yêu văn hóa Việt. Trầu têm cánh phượng – A Vietnamese Greeting in Handcrafted Form Since ancient times, the betel quid has symbolized connection – a gesture to begin conversations and forge meaningful relationships. For me, the phrase “a betel quid starts the conversation” is more than a saying – it embodies a way of communication deeply rooted in Vietnamese culture. The image of the betel leaf folded like phoenix wings – gently curved and perfectly symmetrical – carries a graceful, subtle charm that touched me deeply. It became the core inspiration behind my bag designs. I seek to transform that folk beauty into a modern expression, something more in tune with contemporary life. From the fan-shaped form of the folded betel, I developed a signature bag silhouette – soft, balanced curves crafted with genuine leather, natural linen, and hand-dyeing techniques that preserve the richness of traditional colors. Every stitch, every layer of material is carefully selected and handcrafted – as if I were tenderly layering memories of Vietnamese culture into each piece. To me, these bags are not just fashion items – they are greetings from Vietnam, sent to international friends and to the world. Through my design language, I want to share a Vietnamese story – one that speaks of heritage, grace, and identity. I believe cultural identity does not belong solely to the past. It lives vividly in the present – in every creation shaped by heart, by hands, and by the pride of a young soul who loves Vietnamese culture.
