I am joan Mbugua, a fashion designer and entrepreneur with a specialized focus on sustainable upcycling. I have been in operation since 2017. As the owner of Jokenia designs, i manage an in-house studio and outlet in Karen where i transform repurposed textiles such as linen bedsheets, carpets, and leather into high-end garments and bespoke accessories.
