I am a 24 year old man with a bachelors degree in Industrial art and design from Chinhoyi University who recently enrolled in Leather Institute of Zimbabwe studying a one year certificate in footwear designing, l am obsessed with the idea of designing footwear products that are one with the environmental factors in Africa and Zimbabwe, these products should last longer and co-exist with Africa's environment which mostly consists of wildlife and forestry, these products should be both wearable for casual fits and outdoor activities like walking in dense forestated areas. These products should be both durable and stylish as well.

This boot design aims to address sustainability by creating a durable, long-lasting product that coexists with the environment of Africa and Zimbabwe, particularly its wildlife and forests. The focus on longevity reduces the need for frequent replacements, thereby minimizing environmental impact from waste generation. The use of leather and rubber, while potentially impacting the environment depending on sourcing and treatment, is implied to be a conscious choice, potentially for durability and functionality over synthetic alternatives. These products should be both durable and stylish as well. The product with have a Goodyear welted sole, and a rubber sole for comfort and stability. It was inspired by the All-Star Converse shoe on the logo placement, it was also inspired by morden day American boots for the shape and Goodyear welted sole as well as our very own famous Safari shoes most known for their rubber sole.
