Hello, I am currently a second-year student in the Department of Fashion Design at Tainan University of Technology. I am passionate about fashion design and leather craftsmanship. During my studies, I have developed a strong interest in material application, structural aesthetics, and the emotional value behind each creation. To me, leather is not only a material, but also a medium that carries warmth and stories. Through design, I hope to combine nature, culture, and personal emotions to create works that are both beautiful and practical. By joining the World Leather Competition, I hope to challenge myself, broaden my international perspective, and learn from talented designers from around the world. In the future, I will continue improving my professional skills and create designs with greater depth and influence.

Blessed Branches

Competitions: Taiwan Region

This work, titled “Whispers of Blessing,” is inspired by the vitality and continuity found in tree branches in nature. Branches symbolize growth, connection, and resilience. Through handcrafted leather wrapping techniques, the design presents organic lines that extend naturally, making the piece appear as if it is alive and growing outward. The central pendant features the Chinese character “福” (blessing), representing happiness, fortune, and good luck, while also expressing inner balance and emotional comfort. Leather, as a material, carries warmth and the marks of time, symbolizing personal journeys, experiences, and transformation. Through this design, I hope the wearer can feel a sense of peace and connection with nature in daily life, carrying blessings close to the heart while continuing to grow through life.
