Footwear

I am Shambel Alemayehu from Ethiopia. I was graduated from Addis Ababa university in leather technology on June, 2016. Then after, I was employed in leather industry development institute(LIDI) in 2017. In this institute I have been working for two years as a junior footwear technologist. Then, in 2018 I had got masters scholarship in India (Indian footwear design and development institute) with twining agreement with my employer institute. I have finished my second degree on June, 2020. After completing my masters degree in footwear design and production, I have come back to my country, Ethiopia and my employer institute. Now I am working in leather and leather product industry research and development center(formerly called leather industry development institute) as a researcher and industry consultant. This is the first time for the competition. I have designed women long boot with detachable and replaceable part. I did this design in both economical and sustainability perspective.
