Raffles Design Institute

22-year-old visionary fashion design student with a deep passion for creating bold, narrative-driven designs rooted in culture, sustainability, and individuality. I believe fashion is more than clothing. It’s a form of visual storytelling that can challenge norms, reflect identity, and inspire change. I draw inspiration from global cultures, street style, and the evolving relationship between humanity and the environment. My goal is to infuse sustainable innovation with powerful design concepts. I want to create pieces that are not only visually striking but also carry meaning and purpose.

My collection look draws inspiration from the everyday uniform of garbage workers (people who are often overlooked and plays crucial role in maintaining the health of our environment for our daily life). Their labor is quiet but essential, and this design aims to bring their presence to the forefront. By reimagining the structure of their utilitarian coats, the silhouette becomes a tribute to their visibility, strength, and contribution to the ecosystem and in streetwear. And Asap Rocky style was my muse. The use of my bold color blocking and comic-style graphics are used not just for aesthetic impact, but to amplify their heroism (like how pop art takes the ordinary and turns it into something iconic and heroic). In this piece, the sanitation worker uniform becomes the center of attention. It’s a reminder that sustainability isn’t just about materials. It’s also about honoring those who do the unseen work to keep our world clean. This design embraces both form and meaning, turning a functional uniform into a statement of respect and recognition.
