Sue Sima

International

Recently graduated from Rhode Island School of Design with a BFA in fashion/apparel design, Sue Sima uses the intimate medium of clothing to empower her wearer. A common theme throughout her work is merging natural, intuitive elements with those of the artificial and mechanical worlds. In her senior thesis collection BLADE DANCERS, Sue grappled with emerging AI technologies by exploring a potential for their ethical usages in fashion design through human craft.
