My name is Phasawie Chutrakul, I'm a 22 years old design student freshly graduated from Chulalongkorn University. I believe that everyone has their own little version deep inside their personality. But these days, most of them are afraid to express their little version because of judgmental stares from others. That’s why I want to help everyone express themselves through fashion without fear and shyness. For years, I've been living in my tiny world just like the others I mentioned. But today I decided to leave and explore the real world by participating in the REAL LEATHER STAY DIFFERENT competition to be a voice for those who’ve been through what I have. Through this competition, I hope to inspire others to find their strength and believe in themselves again.
When I was young, my family raised me with a TV show. My favourite genre is “Tokusatsu”, a TV show from Japan. It shaped me as an imaginary and playful kid. So it’s become an inspiration for this collection to celebrate my childhood memories through fashion. This collection tries to blend semi formal wear and my childhood memories into a bold, vivid and contemporary menswear. The combination of the oversized and slim fit silhouette reimagine the costume of Tokusatsu characters. Energetic mustard, Nostalgic blue and Bricks orange are the core colors that bring this collection alive. I wish that all the details can express my courage to explore the world with my little version.
