This project was made for a class where I combined a pocket watch and a plague doctor mask (inspiration from Bloondorne character). The bag has a removable front, depending on what the user wants to show the world. The project was an attempt at making ‘old’ objects more modern for our society while keeping its source.
I am a big fan of the series Hannibal (2013) and I wanted to convey that in my project while challenging myself with the details since I only did my first year in leather making program yet. The design of the bag is made with different techniques mixed together. The main theme is the antlers that are very present in the show with small chains with drops of red glass at the end of each antler spike to represent blood dropping down.
