I am a petroleum and natural gas engineer turned social entrepreneur and the founder of Sulha Afrika, an ethical and sustainable brand on a mission to sustainably elevate style while celebrating the African heritage and working with women and youth from low income backgrounds. As an island-born creative raised on the Kenyan coast, deeply connected to the sea and my Swahili heritage., I know green economy cannt exist without the blue economy. My work is guided by a passion for storytelling through design, drawing from culture, nature, and the ocean that has shaped my identity and perspective.

This collection is a reflection of my deep love for both the land and the sea. I’ve created a black livestock leather bag featuring fish patterns in fish leather, with a handle shaped like a traditional wooden boat. It brings to life the world under the sea, showing that the green and blue economies are deeply connected and must thrive together.
