Shih Chien University

As a fashion design student in Taiwan, I believe that creating things enriches and inspires life. I aim to merge clothing with diverse elements to develop original, one-of-a-kind concepts. Through my work, I strive to add unique value, evoke emotion, and expand the possibilities of design beyond conventional boundaries.

CAMELLIA

Category: Design*

Competitions: Taiwan Region

This project explores the translation of seasonal atmosphere into a physical form. It is inspired by the camellia, a flower that blooms in spring in Japan. The design captures the elegance of the camellia as seen during the spring season, while also reflecting its symbolic meanings—such as refined beauty, humility, and quiet strength. These qualities are expressed through the bag’s sculptural silhouette, smooth contours, and carefully emphasized handcrafted details. By transforming the natural form and cultural significance of the camellia into a contemporary accessory, the piece evokes a sense of calm sophistication and poetic presence.
