"The Red Woman"

The Red Woman is a project inspired by the recurring cultural motif of red shoes and the "red look" in pop culture—particularly in its association with women. Since the beginning of time, humans have been influenced by color theory, with different cultures assigning various meanings to colors. As technology advanced, cinema developed iconic visual styles, often returning to the use of red as a bold aesthetic choice. The woman in red is a visual theme that has appeared in many forms throughout the years, often carrying diverse connotations and symbolism. Inspired by this legacy, I chose a specific pose and design to bring my own interpretation to life, creating her based on my personal ideals, bringing out the powerful image of the woman in red in a playful and teasing design of shoes. The shoe was traditionally handmade, combined with 3D sculpting techniques for the heels, which are reinforced with copper to support the weight of a person.
