This leather design project is inspired by the artistic philosophy of British street artist Banksy. His works use simple and direct imagery combined with political metaphors, social satire, and dark humor to reveal overlooked social issues, turning visuals into a voice for the unheard. This collection translates that storytelling approach into the language of leather design. Through simplified symbols, strong visual contrasts, and ironic graphic elements, the project develops a contemporary social narrative. The core focus is on the working class and lower–middle socioeconomic groups who continue to live within unfair systems — the people often ignored yet essential to the functioning of modern cities. The heaviness, durability, and aging characteristics of leather symbolize labor and the weight of reality, while the ironic and negative tones in the graphics reflect inequality and pressure within social structures. Ultimately, this project aims to bridge fashion and social commentary, transforming leather goods into visual statements that speak for those whose voices are rarely heard.
