The silhouette features a rounded dome, mimicking a childhood lantern. Preserving the bright red color, the design utilizes premium natural cowhide. To achieve structural rigidity, the lower body employs a slit-and-weave technique, combined with double-loop lacing on the edges. This meticulous craftsmanship authentically replicates traditional bamboo weaving while delivering a modern geometric texture. The flap is a masterpiece of leather sculpting. The focal point is the Chrysanthemum—the quintessential symbol of the Vietnamese Autumn. Using 3D layered floristry, each petal is hand-cut, wet-molded, and asymmetrically layered. The soul of the full moon, the Jade Rabbit, leaps off the surface through a 3D padded appliqué technique. Notably, the padding core is stuffed with upcycled leather scraps, conveying a strong message of sustainable fashion. In the background, a bamboo cluster and a conical hat are subtly carved with an antique finish, creating perfect spatial depth.
