ThE lOvE LETTEr | A wearable leather love letter transcending time and space. The structure of this 2WAY bag originated from origami experiments using A4 paper. Utilizing 25 square feet of natural Angus vegetable-tanned leather, the dimensional, envelope-like bow shape is formed purely through precise folding and stitching. The process embraces eco-consciousness, achieving zero-waste fabric utilization. The bag’s surface features hand-drawn plaids in contrasting palettes printed with advanced pigment technology, where the intertwined lines symbolize the overlapping time zones, text messages, and signals of long-distance love. I have subtly hidden my partner’s name, OLEG KORMILITSYN, within the title of the piece, while tucking his private text message deep into the bag's lining—seamlessly blending our shared story with sustainable craftsmanship.
