Healing Acupuncture

Category: Accessories

Titled “Healing Acupuncture,” this project is a series of wearable accessories that explore the intersection of traditional therapeutic methods and avant-garde craftsmanship. Inspired by blogger Wang Yangyang’s narrative of healing childhood trauma through traditional Chinese acupuncture, the collection translates the concept of “internal needling, external care” into a visual language, aiming to provide emotional resonance and protective psychological comfort to those who have experienced similar trauma. In terms of design, the pieces transform the forms of human acupoints, “emotional knots” caused by stagnant blood, and dynamic movements such as boxing into wearable art, using intricate craftsmanship to depict the healing process from blockage to flow.
