This handbag design is inspired by the traditional headscarf of the Red Dao people in Tuyen Quang, a cultural symbol closely tied to the daily life and aesthetics of women in the highlands. The bag’s structure is developed from the way the scarf is folded and wrapped, creating a soft yet well-defined silhouette. On a base of genuine leather, the surface is treated to reinterpret brocade motifs – a distinctive decorative element that defines the identity of the Red Dao community, translated from weaving into contemporary techniques such as embossing and pressing.
