NHÀ RÔNG - BẢN SẮC TÂY NGUYÊN

Category: Accessories

Amid the ever-changing pace of modern life, I chose the Nhà rông Tây Nguyên as a meaningful connection to Vietnamese cultural identity. More than just an architectural structure, the communal house represents the spirit of community—a place where memories, beliefs, and the enduring vitality of the Central Highlands people are preserved. Its soaring roof rising into the vast landscape evokes a sense of sacredness, strength, and quiet resilience. Inspired by this essence, I aim to translate the spirit of the communal house into leather bag design—a material that embodies durability and the passage of time. Through form, structure, and surface treatment, the design does not merely replicate an image but tells a story of connection, heritage, and continuity. This project is not only a design exploration, but also a personal expression of preserving and reinterpreting traditional values within a contemporary context.
