Bonecraft

“Bone Craft” draws inspiration from Leonardo da Vinci, who was known for secretly studying human corpses in order to research human anatomy. He explored various parts of the body, including bones and muscles, through dissection and detailed anatomical drawings. The concept focuses on the idea of “skin covering the bones,” creating a unique aesthetic inspired by the relationship between anatomy and reconstruction. It reflects the contrast between dissection and healing — connecting the work of forensic pathologists and surgeons who examine the body through surgical incisions before carefully stitching and closing the wounds. This process is translated into the bag designs through exposed stitching, sculptural structures, and skin-like layered materials that resemble bone wrapped beneath human skin.
