Micro Energy Field

Category: Accessories

This design takes the mitochondrion as its core inspiration, beginning with its role as the energy-producing center of the cell. Its oval form and intricate folded inner membrane structure are translated into the language of the bag’s design. Through flowing and irregular linework, the design mimics the convoluted form of the mitochondrial inner membrane, symbolizing the continuous generation and transmission of energy within living organisms. This approach allows invisible biological processes to be visualized and transformed into a tangible and perceivable form, bridging the gap between science and design. In terms of form, the bag adopts an elongated oval silhouette combined with asymmetrical structuring, creating an organic and life-like presence. Partial double-layer leather construction is incorporated to suggest the existence of internal structures, emphasizing “internal operation” as the primary design concept. Through the layering and subtle exposure of structural elements, the design conveys a sense of depth while allowing viewers to intuitively perceive the hidden mechanisms within. Regarding materials, light blue-green leather is selected to represent the intracellular environment, conveying a sense of stability, calmness, and continuous flow. The interior features subtly luminous materials, symbolizing the generation and movement of energy particles. As light shifts across the surface, these materials create a soft dynamic effect, further enhancing the perception of ongoing activity and energy flow within the form. Through the integration of shape, material, and color, this work transforms microscopic and invisible biological structures into a tangible and wearable design. It reinterprets the relationship between external appearance and internal mechanisms, presenting a visual expression of continuous life processes and internal energy flow, while reinforcing the connection between the human body and design.
