“Echo of the Shell” is a product inspired by the image of a seashell—a symbol of life and the ocean’s timeless beauty. It is more than just an artistic piece; it reflects what nature offers in reality, carrying the breath of the sea and a simple, raw beauty of life. What makes a seashell special is its ability to resonate sound. With its natural spiral structure, it works like a “resonance chamber,” where sounds from the outside enter, bounce around, and become amplified. When we hold a shell to our ear, we seem to hear the “sound of the sea.” In fact, this is the recreation of familiar sound vibrations, reminding us of ocean waves. The shell does not actually store the ocean’s sound—it recreates our memory of it, preserving the rhythm and breath of the sea. From this simple mechanism, the shell motif in my design becomes a meaningful symbol. It reminds us of the ocean at a time when marine ecosystems are being severely damaged by pollution and waste caused by human carelessness. The bag’s handle strap is crafted from woven fibers in a net-like form. This detail not only creates a unique visual highlight but also carries a deeper message. The mesh pattern evokes fishing nets—a symbol of today’s fishing practices. Behind its beauty lies a difficult truth: uncontrolled exploitation and illegal fishing are gradually tightening the “breath” of the ocean. As human greed and short-term benefits outweigh environmental awareness, the sea slowly loses its vitality. Inspired by the shell’s ability to “recall,” Echo of the Shell serves as a gentle yet persistent reminder: remember the beauty of the ocean, and more importantly, recognize our responsibility to protect it. The use of durable leather not only honors traditional craftsmanship but also represents sustainability—a lasting memory and a firm commitment to preserving the marine environment, so that the sounds of the ocean will not exist only in our memories. "Tiếng Ốc Vọng" là sản phẩm gắn liền với hình ảnh vỏ ốc biển – biểu tượng của sự sống và vẻ đẹp vĩnh cửu của đại dương.Đây là sản phẩm không chỉ đơn thuần mang tính biểu tượng thẩm mỹ nghệ thuật độc đáo của những gì thiên nhiên mang lại trong hiện thực, mang nhịp thở của biển và vẻ đẹp mộc mạc của sự đời. Điểm đặc biệt của vỏ ốc nằm ở khả năng cộng hưởng âm thanh. Với cấu trúc xoắn tự nhiên, vỏ ốc hoạt động như một “hộp cộng hưởng”, nơi âm thanh từ môi trường bên ngoài đi vào, phản xạ nhiều lần và được khuếch đại. Và rồi khi ta áp tai vào vỏ ốc, "âm thanh của biển" như vọng về, đây là sự tái tạo của những dao động âm quen thuộc – khiến ta liên tưởng đến tiếng sóng. Vỏ ốc không thu lại âm thanh của biển, nó tái tạo lại kí ức về biển, lưu giữ nhịp thở của đại dương. Từ cơ chế tưởng chừng đơn giản ấy, họa tiết vỏ ốc trên sản phẩm của tôi trở thành một biểu tượng giàu ý nghĩa: nhắc nhở con người về đại dương - Khi hệ thống môi trường biển ngày càng bị tàn phá nặng nề bởi các chất ô nhiễm, rác thải từ sự sự thiếu ý thức của con người. Phần dây tay cầm túi được chế tác từ chất liệu da đan thành dạng lưới, không chỉ tạo điểm nhấn thẩm mỹ độc đáo cho sản phẩm mà còn ẩn chứa một thông điệp sâu sắc. Hình ảnh những mắt lưới gợi liên tưởng đến ngư cụ đánh bắt – biểu tượng cho thực trạng khai thác thủy sản hiện nay. Đằng sau vẻ đẹp ấy là một thực tại khó phủ nhận: những hoạt động khai thác thiếu kiểm soát và săn bắt trái phép đang từng ngày siết chặt “nhịp thở” của biển. Khi con người bị cuốn vào lòng tham và lợi ích lấn át ý thức bảo vệ tự nhiên, biển cả dần cạn sức sống vốn có. Lấy cảm hứng từ chính khả năng “gợi nhớ” của vỏ ốc, sản phẩm "Tiếng Ốc Vọng" như một lời nhắc nhở bền bỉ: hãy nhớ về vẻ đẹp của biển, và quan trọng hơn – hãy ý thức về trách nhiệm gìn giữ nó. Sự kết hợp với chất liệu da bền chắc không chỉ tôn vinh giá trị thủ công truyền thống, mà còn tượng trưng cho tính bền vững. Đó là sự “ghi nhớ lâu dài” – một lời cam kết không phai mờ về việc bảo vệ môi trường biển, để những âm thanh của đại dương không chỉ còn tồn tại trong ký ức.
