Beetle combat is originally driven by survival and reproduction, playing an important role in maintaining ecological balance. However, with increasing human exploitation of resources and environmental damage, this natural form of competition has gradually been altered and influenced by human activity. The destruction of habitats and ecological imbalance have forced beetles to face threats beyond their own species, transforming what was once a natural internal competition into a broader conflict between humans and nature. This work draws inspiration from the horns of fighting beetles and translates them into the structural design of the bag’s shoulder straps. The interwoven forms express a sense of tension and collision, symbolizing the changing relationship between humans and the environment—from coexistence toward confrontation. The straps are adjustable to enhance usability, while the original seam lines are reinterpreted as functional pockets, integrating practicality into the overall design. The power that once represented survival has, under human influence, been amplified and distorted into a symbol of consumption and destruction. Through this transformation of form and structure, the design aims to raise awareness of ecological imbalance and invite reflection on the relationship between humans and nature.
