This slipper design takes the anatomical structure of the human foot as its core inspiration, exploring the boundary between functionality and aesthetics while rethinking the relationship between footwear and the body. Drawing from the spatial logic of the tarsal and metatarsal bones, the design reconstructs skeletal language through layered leather and precise contours, revealing a visual tension between natural support and dynamic extension. Rather than simply mimicking biological form, the design reflects a deeper philosophy: footwear as an extension of the body itself. Each pair appears to be born from the sole, embodying the wearer’s movement, weight, and daily traces. By fusing anatomical aesthetics with minimal linework, the design challenges visual habits associated with everyday objects, encouraging the wearer to rediscover the intimate connection between foot and footwear. This is not merely a functional object, but a design translation shaped by bodily language—transforming the shoe into an active extension of the human form.
