There stood a tree, ancient and enduring. It had watched people come and go, houses rise and fall, a village quietly reshape itself. Children rested in its shade; villagers whispered their prayers beneath it. One day, it was marked as “land for development.” Apartments were built, and the tree remained silent. Then— its bark split open like wounds, its veins rose from the earth, winding around nearby homes. Those who passed by began to share the same dream: trapped within the tree, unable to breathe. Its the tree crying for help.
