Overfishing can lead to an increase in greenhouse gases in the atmosphere. This is because when fish populations are reduced, there are fewer fish to absorb carbon dioxide from the air. This leads to an increase in the amount of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere, which contributes to global warming. In addition ,It can change the size of fish remaining, as well as how they reproduce and the speed at which they mature. When too many fish are taken out of the ocean it creates an imbalance that can erode the food web and lead to a loss of other important marine life, including vulnerable species like sea turtles and corals. Africa is the most vulnerable continent to climate change impacts under all climate scenarios above 1.5 degrees Celsius. The bag design I made is close and different pattern. The three bags to represent different species in the sea. The main message of the overfishing bag is that everyone should protect and save the environment by not overfishingn.
