The Birth control Pills bag is a part of our graduation collection "Saint Pussy Cat". The starting point for designing our collection was the term "Crazy Cat Lady". The stereotype has traditionally depicted a single, old woman who prefers cats over marriage and children, representing an unconventional woman. Our aim is to empower women who break stigmas and defy social norms. We were inspired by the image of birth control pills that symbolizes the liberation of women and their sexuality in the 60s. Today, the pill is a controversial birth control because of its effects on women's health and the perception of sexual responsibilities. In our women's collection, We offer a new portrayal of the Crazy Cat Lady as a free, authentic woman, who unapologetically chooses what makes her feel good. She is not crazy but an updated female model for 2024.
